3D Illustrations for Norsk Folkemuseum & Norsk Maritime Museum
In collaboration with the Norsk Folkemuseum and Norsk Maritime Museum, we developed a series of 3D illustrations with a focus on highlighting the most memorable experiences each museum has to offer. The goal was to create an adventurous atmosphere that inspires visitors to create lifelong memories this summer.
For Norsk Folkemuseum, our aim was to showcase iconic attractions such as historical buildings and living cultural heritage. Through an isometric camera angle, vibrant colors and playful compositions, we created 3D representations that convey the unique atmosphere and culture visitors can expect to experience. The challenge was to include as many attractions as possible on a restrictive canvas, and to not rely too heavily on details, as the illustration would only be visible for a few seconds at the end of each film. However, we were still meticulous about each element, which contributed to a recognizable and memorable ambience in each illustration.
In the 3D illustration for Norsk Maritime Museum, the focus was on bringing maritime experiences to life. We created visual journeys through the museum's most impressive exhibitions, to convey the exciting atmosphere of exploring ships, maritime artifacts, and stories.
Through the use of vibrant colors and imaginative compositions, we aimed to evoke a sense of adventure and curiosity among potential visitors. The illustrations were carefully tailored to create a visual appeal that inspires spending summer days at the Norsk Folkemuseum and the Norsk Maritime Museum.
The result of this project is a series of 3D illustrations that not only visually highlight the major attractions at each museum but also convey a magical ambiance appealing to both locals and tourists. creating an adventurous desire to visit the museums this summer.
